Based on key element technologies such as molecular switch technology, plant cell culture technology, and bio-conversion technology, INGR is building a natural biomaterial platform based on plant stem cell lines, natural treasure troves, and developing a system that continuously searches and mass-produces functional materials.

Based on the natural biomaterial platform, INGR provides functional ingredients for cosmetics and health foods and related technical services. ‘Molecular switch technology’ can increase the content of useful ingredients by controlling plant metabolism; ‘plant cell culture technology’ can produce natural materials without restrictions from ecological and cultivation environment; and ‘bio-conversion technology’ can produce expensive rare ingredients from low-cost precursors. In addition, INGR is realizing the value of the natural biomaterial platform by developing its own beauty health brand “Vegetology” and releasing functional cosmetics.
